He’s also an idiot. I run NFTU.net and Euphrosynos Cafe. I use the “big socials” to redirect traffic and have for years. I’ve been slack on it after becoming busy on YouTube, but these people don’t realize we’re “established historical web sources.” We’re more dangerous than the nonstop chatter systems.
That’s especially true if we put in more than a perfunctory effort and have modest success. We become an uncontrolled and uncensorable alternative media source. 20 years ago, that would’ve sounded dramatic and silly, as if we were too big for our britches, but today we see that the likes of x.com regard us as competitors…which, in the case of SangerFeed, we literally are.
I’m happy to continue on with this site for a good while.
